About Me

Hello, my name is Stuart, and I’m the creator and owner of Unlock The Door, the personal development website dedicated to helping you unlock the massive potential in your lives and VacuumCleanersLab

My Story

Up until I was 21 years old, I was unhappy with life.

I’d been bullied at school on numerous occasions, I had nearly failed my entire college years, and although I was glad to have gotten into university, I was making few friends, and having minimal fun. My youth was in danger of drifting away, and by the end of my university degree, I had nearly nothing to show for it.

Then, on Christmas 2007, my Dad got me a book, “The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari” by Robin Sharma. I thought it was a stupid title, and I was fully ready to skim read it before dismissing it as fantasy. What I wasn’t ready for was the immense changes that this book would coax out of me, affecting me to this very day.

As a result of reading that book, I had my spiritual awakening on January 2008. In other words, I realised that there is far more to life than I first assumed. Since then I’ve never looked back. Since then, I’ve looked at the world through new and brighter eyes.

As the years went by, I felt new drive within me – I got a decent job, I made new friends that were worthy of friendship, I strengthened my relationships with my family, I found a beautiful girlfriend who is still with me today, and I found time to further develop my awareness and personal development. I was, for the first time in a long while, enjoying life.

But something still felt off. Although life was fun, it felt like I needed to do something big. Something that would help me realise my dreams, which was to help others ‘unlock the doors’ in their lives.

After researching different ways, I found it – a website. This was the answer.

And so ‘Unlock The Door’ was created on 1st October 2010, when I decided to reach out to the world and offer any help that I could.  Later on, I got fed up with it and started this site VacuumcleanersLabs. Here are some of my recently posted articles:
